Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your download and use of pre-built Muti Metroo binaries ("Binaries") provided by Postal Systems OÜ ("Company", "we", "us", or "our").

Source Code License

The Muti Metroo source code is available under the MIT License. These Terms do not apply to the source code - you may use, modify, and distribute the source code according to the MIT License terms.

1. Scope and Acceptance​

These Terms apply specifically to pre-built binary downloads from our official distribution channels. By downloading these Binaries, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.

What these Terms cover:

  • Pre-built binaries downloaded from mutimetroo.com
  • Pre-built binaries downloaded from GitHub Releases

What these Terms do NOT cover:

  • Source code (governed by MIT License)
  • Binaries you compile yourself from source code

2. Permitted Use​

You may use the Binaries only for lawful and legitimate purposes, including but not limited to:

  • Secure network communications within your own infrastructure
  • Authorized penetration testing with explicit written permission
  • Security research in controlled environments
  • Educational purposes and learning
  • Legitimate business operations requiring secure mesh networking

3. Prohibited Use​

You agree NOT to use the Binaries for any unlawful or prohibited activities, including but not limited to:

  • Unauthorized access to computer systems or networks
  • Circumventing security measures without authorization
  • Any activity that violates applicable local, national, or international laws
  • Distributing malware, viruses, or other harmful code
  • Conducting denial-of-service attacks
  • Intercepting communications without proper authorization
  • Any activity that infringes upon the rights of others
  • Facilitating illegal activities or criminal enterprises

4. User Responsibility​

You are solely responsible for:

  • Ensuring your use of the Binaries complies with all applicable laws and regulations
  • Obtaining all necessary permissions and authorizations before using the Binaries
  • The security of your own systems and configurations
  • Any consequences arising from your use of the Binaries

5. Disclaimer of Warranties​

THE BINARIES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

  • IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY
  • FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE
  • NON-INFRINGEMENT
  • ACCURACY OR RELIABILITY OF RESULTS

We do not warrant that the Binaries will meet your requirements, operate without interruption, or be error-free.

6. Limitation of Liability​

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, Postal Systems OÜ AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, AND AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

  • Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
  • Any loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses
  • Any damages resulting from unauthorized access to or alteration of your data
  • Any damages resulting from your use or inability to use the Binaries
  • Any damages resulting from any third party's actions related to your use of the Binaries

THIS LIMITATION APPLIES REGARDLESS OF THE LEGAL THEORY UPON WHICH DAMAGES MAY BE CLAIMED AND EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

In jurisdictions that do not allow the exclusion or limitation of liability for consequential or incidental damages, our liability shall be limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

7. Indemnification​

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Postal Systems OÜ and its officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to:

  • Your use or misuse of the Binaries
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your violation of any applicable laws or regulations
  • Your violation of any third-party rights

8. Export Compliance​

The Binaries may be subject to export control laws and regulations. You agree to comply with all applicable export and re-export restrictions and regulations.

9. Modifications to Terms​

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted on our website with a new "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the Binaries after any changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

10. Governing Law​

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Estonia, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

11. Severability​

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that these Terms shall otherwise remain in full force and effect.
